Instead of celebrating “happily ever after” in the usual way, students explore classic love stories — but with a critical and creative twist.

📖 How it works:

1️⃣ Students read short excerpts from well-known romantic stories.
2️⃣ They must guess which story the excerpt belongs to.
3️⃣ Then comes the twist:
What if there was no prince?

Students rewrite the ending, imagining how the story would change without the romantic hero.

This activity is great for our students. It develops written comprehension, critical thinking, creative writing, oral production (when working in teams) and literary awareness 😊
